ARTICLE X
DUES AND EXPENSES
Section 1. This Association shall pay annually to the USADB its regional fee. (See Appendix A1)
Section 2. The Secretary-Treasurer of this Association shall collect all membership dues for the USADB
and remit said dues to the Secretary-Treasurer of the USADB, postmarked on or before the
first day of February. Each member team shall be fined (See SR V 3.) for failure to meet this
deadline.
Section 3. The receipts from dues and all other sources shall be devoted to defraying the cost of the annual
dues of this Association to the USADB, and for printing and other necessary expenses incurred
by the Executive Board of this Association.
Section 4. Transportation expenses (airplane round trip lowest applicable fare) of the four (4) officers of
this Association, to and from this Association's tournament city, shall be paid in full by the
CBAD sponsoring such tournament. The officers of this Association, who live within 250 miles
of this Association's tournament city, shall receive an amount for gas expenses instead of round
trip airfare. Transportation expenses (airplane one-way lowest applicable fare) and hotel
expenses (two nights - hotel rate) of each member of the Law Committee of this Association shall
be paid out of the funds of this Association. (Refer to Article XI, Section 2)

Section 5. Hotel bills of the four (4) officers of this Association by all tournament sites shall be paid in
full by the CBAD tournament. Each officer shall be responsible for any incidental expenses.

Section 6. The four (4) officers of this Association shall be paid per diem per day for three (3) days
(Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and the Law Committee members shall be paid per diem for one
(1) day. This per diem will be paid out of the funds of this Association. (See Appendix A6 & A7)
Section 7. The Secretary-Treasurer of this Association shall receive as compensation during his/her term
of office, an amount (See Appendix A18), payable every April 30.
Section 8. The Sports Commissioner/Tournament Director of this Association shall receive as
compensation during his/her term of office, an amount (See Appendix A19), and payable every
April 30.
Section 9. There shall be no compensation for lost time by the officers of this Association in attending any
meetings of this Association.
Section 10. President/Commissioner of this Association shall be authorized up to the limit of amount
(See Appendix A16) for expenses pertaining to the USADB business.
Section 11. This Association shall not be held responsible for transportation, lodging, lost time compensation,
and combination ticket expenses incurred by delegates attending the meetings of the Board of
Directors of this Association.
Section 12. The officers of this Association, the members of the Law Committee of this Association, and Hall
of Famers shall be admitted to all tournament games and ballroom of this Association at a CBAD
registration fee (See Appendix A4). The Past Presidents/Commissioners and Past Secretary-
Treasurer of this Association, each Delegate of the active member team, Delegate at Large of
this Association, and all eligible players and cheerleaders shall be admitted to all tournament
games and ballroom of this Association at a special player’s rate (See Appendix A4).
Section 13. An individual registration fee (See Appendix A4) at all regional tournaments of this
Association shall apply to all people attending any regional tournament. All registration fees
and ballroom rates set by the CBAD shall be made in advance to the Secretary-Treasurer of
this Association prior to any regional tournaments. This Association shall remit the net proceeds
of the individual registration fees to the Secretary-Treasurer of this Association at the last
day of its tournament after the CBAD closed the Admission and any adjustment remaining
balance due within thirty (30) days following the tournament.
Section 14. This Association shall purchase annually a full-page advertisement in the program booklet of the
CBAD sponsoring a regional tournament of this Association and also a full-page advertisement in
the program booklet of any CBAD sponsoring any National Tournaments for the USADB.
Section 15. This Association shall grant the basketball teams (Champion, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place) of this
Association a sum (See Appendix A20 & A21 & A22) each annually to help with expenses to the
National Basketball of the USADB. The Executive Board shall be empowered to determine the
amount to be given to championship teams without the approval of the Board of Directors. In
order for women team to receive equal amount of championship money that the men team may
receive, there must be at least a such number of women teams playing in a tournament
(See Appendix A20).
Section 16. In the event any of the participated teams choose not to attend the National Tournament of the
USADB shall waive their invitation and grant to the next team on the waiting list according to
their ranking. In the event any of the teams choose not to participate the National Tournament
of the USADB shall withdraw their CBAD’s sponsorship monies which shall be placed in the
CBAD General Fund.
Section 17. This Association shall allow the Vice President/Deputy Commissioner (Hall of Fame Director)
of this Association a sum (See Appendix A13) for allowance as to expenses incurred by this
committee.
Section 18. Any amount (See Appendix A15) for an expense should be approved by the Secretary-
Treasurer for all officers and the Law Committee.
Section 19. The players’ registration fees paid are not refundable after the deadline unless it is a hardship
situation, and then only with approval by the Executive Board of this Association.
